New to Pilates? You’re in the Right Place.

If you have never tried Pilates before, you may have some concerns or questions; I have listed a few common questions that could help you in your decision.

What to Expect in Your First Session?

Your first session begins with a brief conversation about your goals, any pain or injuries, and what you hope to gain from Pilates. From there, Christina introduces you to the reformer and other equipment at a pace that feels comfortable. There is no pressure to keep up-every exercise is adjusted to your body that day. Most new students leave their first session feeling surprised by how good they feel and eager to come back.

Is the Studio Right for You?

Christina Sauer Pilates is especially well-suited for:

  • Adults 40+ who want to stay active with flexibility and strength training

  • Anyone recovering from back, hip or knee surgery

  • People managing scoliosis, osteoporosis and osteopenia

  • Those finishing physical therapy who want to keep progressing

  • Beginners who have never tried Pilates before

  • Anyone who has tried group fitness but needs more individual attention

New Student Questions~

Do I need any experience?

None at all. I work with beg-inners regularly and designs every session around where you are starting from.

Will I be on the reformer right away?

Most likely yes-the reformer is a great place to start. I will guide you step by step and introduce you to other Pilates equipment.

How soon will I feel the difference?

Most new students notice improved and reduced pain within the first few sessions. With consistent weekly sessions and added home workouts, most notice changes within four to six weeks.

How is your studio different from a group Pilates class?

Unlike large group classes, every class is personalized to your body and your goals. I teach a maximum of 3 students to a class, which means you receive individual attention and exercises matched to exactly where you are that day.

How do I get started?‍ ‍

My New Introductory package of 3 is a great place to start. I will take it from there. If you have pain, the 15-minute complimen-tary consult can help me prepare your session with your condition or injury in mind.
