I have a few families that workout together. This husband and wife duet have encouraged each other in their Pilates routine at home after coming once a week to the Pilates studio. They ski as a family and ice skate with their 10-year-old daughter.

I loved that each of us was able to work on different Pilates machines during the session. Even when I wasn’t on a specific piece of equipment, I got to learn about how it worked and what muscles it targeted. Since I had never taken a Pilates class before, this mixed‑equipment session was the perfect introduction. I was definitely introduced to muscles I didn’t know I had! I spent most of my time on the Reformer, which was such a cool experience.
Christine was amazing—she checked in with each of us throughout the class and gave really clear, individualized instruction on every machine we used. Even though we were in a small group, it still felt personal and tailored to each person. It was very clear that she genuinely cared about each student’s experience.
