What is Pilates like at your studio? If you are pain free, I want you to feel comfortable moving so we just move on the machines and we slowly introduce some challenges. I want your muscles to build up the endurance to where you may not be able to complete the required repetitions for the exercise. If you are in pain, after a brief chat, I slowly introduce exercises that allow you to feel relaxed then we take breaks when needed or we skip exercises that don’t help the way you feel.

What if I just want to learn Reformer Pilates? I do not teach “Reformer Pilates.” I teach Pilates which means I use equipment that Joseph Pilates created exercises for. Fundamentals are incorporated in each exercises and each machine. I also use other non-Pilates related equipment to help you succeed in your goals.

How should my body feel after sessions with you? You should feel possibly taller, lighter and some level of soreness. Increased energy and stamina should result after a few weeks of sessions with me. Most of my students express feeling less pain when they walked in and improved pain managment.

How often should I do Pilates to achieve my goals? Most of my students commit weekly at 1x/week, others love coming to 2x/week. Your progress will depend on coming regularly, adding your independent workouts at home on days you do not come in. You can also benefit from my video on demand platform to keep you working on important fundamentals. Think of Pilates as a vitamin you take daily. You can do Pilates for 10 minutes, 30 minutes or 50 minutes and still maintain mobility and strength even while you travel. I have students who connect with me for Pilates while traveling abroad.

What should I wear? Comfortable moving joggers or workout pants with a tank top or t-shirt. Please wears sticky socks on equipment if possible or just regular socks. Please bring your own hydration. Shoes are removed before using the equipment.

Do you take insurance? No, I do not work in conjunction with medical insurances.

How long is my session? All sessions are 55minutes long. If you arrive early, please text your arrival as main doors are typically locked. Please wait in the waiting area before your scheduled time.
